About the Center
The Arab-Danish Center for Future Studies (DACFS) is a comprehensive scientific and developmental vessel that brings together scientific and academic staff to identify the problems and issues that our Arab societies suffer from, by finding appropriate solutions scientifically, and forming thinking which is capable of correcting the education path and achieving its goals. This will activate solid scientific research in various research fields related to the center’s interests.
The work of research centers has become an urgent need and an indispensable necessity for researchers and scholars, especially in countries that suffer from problems that threaten the existence of Arab societies. For this importance, the idea of establishing the Arab-Danish Center for Future Studies was launched on 18/12/2021. in a neutral and unbiased environment, it is fair in its diagnosis of the reality of the problem and its circumstances, financially and legally independent, relies in its study and diagnosis on scientific and academic competence, and benefits from the scientific and research side.
The Center is open to a number of research centers and scientific and academic institutions around the world, with diverse specializations, regardless of geographical affiliation. It is a research unit within the Northern European Academy of Sciences and Scientific Research, dedicated to conducting studies and research in various humanitarian and scientific fields. It also helps to spread science and knowledge, and identify the phenomena and problems facing Arab societies, the world, and Arab communities in the diaspora, through publishing research and studies by specialists in these and other fields.
A . Center objectives
The most important main objectives of the center are:
1.Identify the problems that Arab societies suffer from.
2.Unifying scientific and academic visions and efforts and employing them in a direction that serves the issues of Arab societies in sustainable development and looking forward to a bright future.
3.Rapprochement between Arab researchers and academics and finding common scientific ground that brings them together on a single scientific level.
4.Encouraging scientific research and its development in various fields of knowledge, especially in the humanitarian, social and legal fields, and fields related to the issues of Arab societies and the objectives of the centre.
5.Effective dialogue and communication between researchers and intellectuals on a regular basis.
6.Building bridges of communication and joint work between scientific and academic competencies in countries around the world.
7.Supporting students and researchers and encouraging them to study problems and find scientifically appropriate solutions.
8.Helping researchers communicate with scientific centers and research institutions.
9.Activating the cognitive, cultural and awareness movement.
10.Finding peer-reviewed scientific publishing outlets for researchers and academics.
11.Contributing to proofreading and printing books, through agreements with publishing houses.
B . Center work
The center serves as a research platform that brings together researchers and scientific institutions for joint work, and the work it carries out includes:
1.Forming research groups to conduct intellectual and cultural research and studies assigned by the Center.
2.Printing and publishing research and studies completed by researchers within the center's specializations.
3.Issuing a scientific journal for the Centre, electronic and paper, that has an international circulation and is concerned with the Centre’s activities (The Scholar journal for Science and Technology).
4.Issuing joint periodicals with other centers and universities.
5.Translating some works and studies from Arabic to English and vice versa.
6.Holding scientific courses and conferences to discuss participants’ research.
7.Holding seminars and lectures to learn about scientific and cognitive developments in the world.
8.Expanding the scope of published books and research to bring them to the forefront of scientific discussions and contributions.
